Datsun 280Z 1975 - 76 Gas Tank

Datsun 280Z 1975 -1976 Gas Tank in Super - Clean Condition. This tanks has no problems, There was Very Light surface rust in a few places, but light. Super Solid, No Leaks, Pinholes, or Cracks. We checked this tank all over very carefully. We cleaned it off lightly and found no problem anywhere and then  hand sanded carefully to remove any surface flaking, light rust and dirt particles. You will see a series of pictures of this three stage process in this listing. After sanding the tank we found that there was no pitting from any rust anywhere, just smooth, clean surface. Only the paint shows pitting which was also sanded. Then the entire tank was cleaned carefully, wiped carefully and given two coats of rust-preventative paint and then heat treated in the sun. There are some minor dents and dings on the bottom of the tank but they have caused no problem and are very minor. We are glad to report the inside of the tank is the cleanest we have ever seen in a Z car Gas Tank, Very Clean ! Inspect and do a pressure test before installing, please.  Guaranteed.  SKU 132
